Who is Business Psychology Associates?

Business Psychology Associates (BPA) was formed in 1983 out of a large provider-owned clinical practice in Caldwell, Idaho, to focus resources and attention on system-wide interventions and programs.  Our steady growth and evolution as Idaho’s premier administrator of behavioral healthcare delivery systems positions us to partner with the State of Idaho in the interest of Mental Health Provider Credentialing.

Business Psychology Associates is an Idaho company. We understand what makes Idahoans, their families and communities special and have dedicated our efforts to improving Idaho’s health and safety for more than twenty-five (25) years.

From its Boise headquarters, Business Psychology Associates serves many types of clients including public agencies, large private employers, public employers (cities, counties, state and federal employees) and Health Maintenance Organizations.  Business Psychology Associates has successfully served the State of Idaho both through its Employee Benefit Plan as well as the Care Management of its substance abuse treatment services for many years.

Beginning with local contracts, then gradually adding regional and national clients, Business Psychology Associates has grown and now serves more than 500,000 members in a variety of managed behavioral service programs, most here in Idaho. Business Psychology Associates has supplied a credentialed mental health network to two of Idaho’s largest health insurers for more than a decade. In 2003, Business Psychology Associates expanded its relationship with Idaho’s Department of Health and Welfare to become the State Substance Abuse (SSA) Management Services Contractor (MSC) and now manages the entire continuum of substance abuse treatment providers. Our success with the Treatment Block Grant allowed us to expand our role as the MSC for Idaho’s new Access to Recovery (ATR) Grant.
